They call it a "social network" but people rarely "socialize" in the true sense of the word, everyone is thrilled to post, like and comment, it's good to interact and everything, but what about one-on-one conversations??! The kinda convo where you authentically share your story with another person and listen to theirs? Do folks even do that anymore?! 😔
The most active people online have now become lazy-ass interlocutors, like seriously WTH. So we wanna proclaim our thoughts and share them with the world, but we're not ready to hear what others have to say!?
It's funny and sad to see people selfishly escaping conversations, just because they're constantly "too bored" or "not in the mood" to talk; if that's really the case, then WHEN and HOW are we ever gonna communicate with each other? The act of exchange itself is not important if the way we practice it is primarily wrong.
I'm outta here man!
