"If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything"
This quote is so magical, powerful and extremely deep, I personally love it because it somehow summarizes what the youth generation is suffering from nowadays, they're so driven and rash, following whatever that is trendy and viral, they cherish the hype, they have no principles, their fundamentals are so weak, their personalities are built on unstable grounds, their attitudes are very controversial, they don't mind adopting an idea then letting it go the next day, they defend causes they know nothing about, they're against causes they also know nothing about ... If you try to advise them, they will just neglect you, if you try to be reasonable and talk to them using solid arguments, they just mock you and say: Everyone else is doing the same thing, so are we.
Just because the majority emphasizes a certain ideology, it doesn't necessarily mean it is right or undoubtful. I'd say only people with strong beliefs can resist to the this continuous massive attack against morals and good behavior.
May Allah protect us from being swept away by the waves.
